University Outreach Student Leadership Workshop

On August 10, 2024, the ASCE OC University Outreach Committee hosted a Student Leadership Workshop to ensure our ASCE OC Student Chapter Leaders were prepared for the 2024-2025 academic year. University Outreach hosted 14 CSUF, CSULB, and UCI student leaders and presented on the following topics: ASCE OC Overview, How to be a Good Leader, Character Development, Conflict Resolution, Schedule Management, and the University Outreach Calendar.

The students learned valuable techniques to be effective leaders while getting to know this year’s University Outreach committee. The event also helped University Outreach and the students collaborate on event dates for the upcoming year to ensure we provide resources and support when they need it most. We look forward to seeing them lead their student chapters through another great year!
