I hope this message finds you well as we move into an exciting period for our branch. With the arrival of summer, we have a series of events lined up that reflect our dedication to professional growth, community engagement, and the celebration of our collective achievements. It is my pleasure to share the highlights of these upcoming events and extend a warm invitation to each of you.
Annual Awards Night
Our Annual Awards Night is fast approaching, scheduled for May 30th. This prestigious event is an opportunity to honor the outstanding contributions of our members and the incredible projects that have set new benchmarks in civil engineering. It’s a night to celebrate excellence, innovation, and dedication within our field.
The evening will feature presentations of various individual and project awards, and a chance to network with peers and industry leaders. I encourage you all to attend, not only to support your colleagues but to be inspired by the remarkable work being done across our community.
Golf Tournament
Following our awards night, we are hosting our Annual Golf Tournament on June 28 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club. This event is more than just a fun day on the greens; it’s a fantastic opportunity to strengthen professional relationships and foster camaraderie within our branch. Whether you’re an experienced golfer or a novice, we welcome you to participate in this enjoyable event. There will be prizes, refreshments, and plenty of networking opportunities. Remember, the funds raised from this tournament support our scholarship and outreach programs, directly benefiting the next generation of civil engineers.
Summer Activities
As we embrace the summer season, we have planned several events to keep our members engaged and connected. Our soft skills workshop is designed to be both informative and enjoyable, providing a perfect blend of professional development and relaxation. Look out for details on upcoming technical tours, luncheons, and our popular young member events.
In closing, I would like to thank each of you for your continued support and involvement in the ASCE OC Branch. Your dedication is what makes our branch thrive. Let’s make this summer memorable by celebrating our achievements, forging stronger connections, and contributing positively to our community.
Looking forward to seeing you at our upcoming events.
