What is the Misson of OC YMF?

Our mission is to provide essential values to develop future leaders and foster the growth of our members to better serve the public and community.

What kind of activities can I look forward to in OC YMF?

Networking, Career Development, Social Activities, K-12 and University Outreach, Community Service are only a few aspects of OC YMF. For Career Development and Networking activities, we have our annual PE Review Course and annual Women in Construction Week. Social events range from Happy Hours, Wine Tasting Trips, Baseball Night, and many, many more. To outreach to the community and students, we have Rebuilding Together, Soup Kitchen Volunteers, High School Visits, and the Popsicle Stick Bridge Competition just to name a few.

What are the requirements for membership?

The only requirement for membership in OC YMF is that you have to be a national member of ASCE and are 35 years of age or younger. However, we do have a no-ask policy. If you are young at heart, you can join any of our activities. 

Can I attend the monthly Board Meetings?

All members are welcome to the monthly Board meetings, we would love for you to join us every third Wednesday of the month on Zoom (Open to All)! It is a great opportunity to meet the Board members and fellow YMFers. If you want to get more involved or just want to know what is going on with OC YMF, please join us. We provide dinner at these meetings!

President's Message


Welcome to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Orange County Younger Member Forum (OC YMF)! For those who are new to our organization, OC YMF aims to help Younger Members grow professionally and serves both the profession and the community!

I am humbled to have the opportunity to serve as the OC YMF President for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year. I look forward to continuing my contribution to this awesome organization alongside so many great individuals.

Over the years, my experience with OC YMF has been a great one! I appreciate all of the friendships I have made, the opportunities for personal and professional growth, and the ability to have a positive impact on the community. I definitely recommend getting involved!
