Jazzy Quinabo is a Project Engineer for the Program & Construction Management Group at Jacobs. She has five years of industry experience in the Transportation, Geotechnical Engineering, Pipeline Utilities, K-12 Master Planning, and Construction Management fields. She has been involved with ASCE OC YMF since 2014 and has served in various Executive Board & Committee Chair roles at both the YMF and Branch level.
Jazzy is grateful to be working and leading with such a passionate and driven team of young professionals. She enjoys creating opportunities that engage and advance our local Civil Engineering community and looks forward to building more unforgettable memories with ASCE OC YMF this year.
Terracon | Geotechnical
Ryan completed his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from California State University Fullerton and is currently working at Terracon. Before his career and college studies, Ryan enlisted in the US Navy and worked on helicopters out of San Diego. He is still an active member of the Navy Reserves out of Seal Beach.
Being a part of the OC YMF has helped Ryan network, create new friends with similar interests, and grow as a leader.

Melissa is a Design Engineer at KPFF in Long Beach. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona where she was heavily involved in Concrete Canoe.
Melissa enjoys being involved with ASCE to help advance the profession, educate the community about the importance of engineering and infrastructure, and she continually feels inspired and motivated by like-minded individuals who are well on their way to becoming the future leaders in Civil Engineering.

Huitt-Zollars | Environmental and Water Resources
Crystal Mena EIT works at Huitt-Zollars supporting the water resources team where she works on projects in hydrology, hydraulics, best management practice inspections and hydraulic modeling. Crystal earned her M.S. in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and her B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to working in industry, Crystal conducted research on heavy metals in roadways and its effects on local water bodies and was a teaching assistant at Cal Poly Pomona.
Crystal has been involved with ASCE OC YMF since 2016, where she has developed wonderful friendships, given back to the community and provide advice to students about the civil industry. She has previously served on the Executive Board as Secretary, Communication Chair and been involved with the Publications Committee. During her free time, she like to spend time with her dog, check out food spots, and go on hikes.

Ashlyn is a Road and Highway Engineer at Parsons Corporation in Irvine. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering in December of 2016 from San Diego State University. She has been involved in NSBE, WTS, and ASCE throughout her college experience and career.
With a quick move to the OC, she recognized the need to join professional organizations in the area to succeed professionally and personally and OC YMF was an excellent way to get started! OC YMF is very welcoming and continues to make the organization feel like home. With her passion to serve, she is excited to serve as Secretary and continue to grow OC YMF as the premier resource and organization for younger civil engineers in Orange County.

Chuck is a Design Engineer at Mark Thomas. He is currently working on roadway, drainage and staging designs in the transportation office in Irvine. He also has four years of construction management experience with Caltrans roadway and staging work.
Chuck’s participation with OC YMF has exposed him to new leadership opportunities and professional growth throughout the years. One of Chuck's reasons to be part of OC YMF is to give back to the community he lives in through K-12 and other professional opportunities. Adeleine is a Geotechnical Engineer at Jacob's Irvine office. Adeleine earned her M.S. in GeoSystems/GeoEngineering and B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
In her free time, she enjoys dancing, urban exploring, and trying out new restaurants and coffee shops. Adeleine has been in ASCE OC YMF since June 2017 and she is excited to continue expanding her network professionally and personally.

Raul obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from UCI where he was very involved with the ASCE Student Chapter. He currently works at HNTB as a roadway designer.
Whether it's playing arena soccer on Sundays, weight training, or boxing, Raul enjoys being active. But he could just as easily spend the weekend hanging out with family and friends to watch a movie or play a board game (Citadels is his favorite).

Darlyn recently graduated from UC Irvine with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and now works at Mark Thomas as a roadway Design Engineer.
Darlyn was heavily involved in ASCE at UC Irvine and joined YMF to continue her involvement. As the UCI Liason Darlyn strives to keep communication transparent between YMF and the student chapters and hopes to assist the student chapter in any way OC YMF can. As the Internal Activites Co-Chair, she hopes to maintain a friendly and warm sense of community among current and new members with monthly networking and social events.

Evelyn graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2017. She is currently a Transportation Engineer at Caltrans in San Bernardino.
She is very passionate about helping others and meeting new people. Joining ASCE YMF has given her an opportunity to pursue these passions outside of work. She hopes to bring Civil Engineering closer to the community through a variety of community service events.

Frida is a Project Engineer at Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Irvine. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton in the Spring of 2018. She was involved with ASCE, Chi Epsilon, CalGeo, ITE and AGC during her college trajectory. She continues to remain involved with ASCE today in her career, serving as one of the OC YMF CSUF Student Liaisons since the Fall of 2018.
Frida’s involvement with OC YMF has allowed her to continue helping the Civil Engineering student community. As well as introduced her to a phenomenal group of determined, passionate, and inspiring like-minded younger members who have grown to become cherished friendships. Frida wishes to continue expanding her involvement through OC YMF and furthermore into the ASCE OC Branch when the time comes.

Gabreelle graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor's in Civil Engineering in 2015. She currently works at Fuscoe Engineering as an Engineer on the Commercial Team. At Fuscoe she works on a variety of projects ranging from hotels, wineries, mixed-use, commercial sites, etc.
Gabreelle began her involvement with OC YMF in 2015, post-graduation in the University Outreach Committee as the UC Irvine Liaison. She serves as University Outreach Chair and works closely with the three Orange County Universities (UC Irvine, CSUF, CSULB). Gabreelle continues to lead the University Outreach Committee, because she enjoys providing support and resources to the student chapters in helping them transition to the professional industry. She appreciates the opportunities OC YMF has given her over the years, in which she has made many great friends, grew her network, learned about the industry, and grown both personally and professionally.

Gabriela graduated from University of California, Irvine with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in transportation. She is currently working at Lin Consulting, Inc, a traffic, civil and electrical engineering firm, as a Project Engineer in the traffic planning team. Wanting to expand her knowledge of the industry, she joined OC YMF in hopes of growing professionally and personally. From the first day she joined, she always felt welcomed, and as a board member, she wants to contribute to OC YMF as much as she can. Her goal is to inspire people just how her mentors inspired her.
Guillermo (Memo) Medina

Memo is a Designer 2 in the Civil Engineering team at LPA, Inc in Irvine, CA. He graduated from UC Irvine in 2017 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Memo got involved with the ASCE student chapter at UCI where he finished his senior year serving as the club's Internal Vice President and as Steel Bridge Co-Project Manager. His focus now is serving as a Co-Chair for the K-12/PSBC Committee where he gets to work with (and hopefully inspire) the engineers of the future. Aside from ASCE and work, Memo spends his free time with his family and frequents Netflix as it is a staple in his life.

Jared Lindo is a Transportation Engineer in Project Management for Caltrans District 12. He graduated from Fresno State College with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He has over 8 years experience in private engineering consulting having worked as a Land Surveyor, Project Utility Coordinator, Designer, Project Engineer and Project Manager. Jared feels that ASCE has truly enriched his Academic, Professional, and personal life. Through ASCE he has fostered life long friendships, joined a supportive engineering community, and been given the opportunity to give back to the community.

When she's not at work or a YMF event, you can find her near the beach or heading to the mountains for her next ski trip.

Joseph works as a staff engineer at Converse Consultants, one of Los Angeles’ oldest Geotechnical Firms. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona in 2016, and returned to finish his M.S. this spring 2020 with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering.
Joseph thanks YMF and ASCE for his tremendous personal and professional growth and seeks to give back to the community at large through community service, mentorship, and general leadership roles. In his free time, he is always playing basketball, training Muay Thai, or hanging with friends and family.

Joe is a civil engineer and building enclosure consultant with degrees in structural engineering and physics from UC San Diego. He works in Orange County specializing in building science, waterproofing design, forensic investigations, and building enclosure commissioning per LEEDv4 standards.
Joe originally joined ASCE YMF to network, but quickly found so much more in its welcoming and inspiring members. Outside of work, Joe enjoys growing live plants in his aquariums, playing computer games like Factorio and Kerbal Space Program, and avoiding exercise.

Julia graduated from UC Irvine in 2018 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and now works at Parsons as a Roadway Engineer. Luis Manzo received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from CSU Fullerton. He is a assistant engineer at “WKE, Inc.”, a transportation & structures engineering company. While attending CSU Fullerton he was heavily involved with ASCE and became a concrete canoe paddler in his 1st year with ASCE then became the vice president of the club the following year. After attending the numerous professional/ social events that ASCE has to offer he realized how much he missed out by not joining the organization sooner. He does not intend to make that mistake again, he is going to continue to be involved with the organization and expand his network. He hopes to assist CSUF as their liaison/ practitioner advisor and help them in any way he can to make sure the student chapter runs smoothly and efficiently. And hopefully in the process teach the students just how important it is to continue to be involve with ASCE even after graduation.

Magdalena graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2017 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and works at All States Engineering and Surveying as a Project Engineer.
She joined OC YMF to learn more about the industry and meet fellow passionate civil engineers. In college, she participated in the ASCE chapter as CSUF’s Concrete Canoe Captain and appreciated all the growth the chapter gave her and wanted to give back. She plans to do this as one of CSUFs liaison/practitioner advisors and by helping OC YMF continue its goal of helping future generations of engineers.

Nestor is an Associate Engineer at SLR International Corporation. Nestor received his B.S. from UC Irvine and his M.S. from CSU Fullerton. Nestor joined OC YMF to further develop his professional network of his peers.
Nestor was President of OC YMF during the 2016-2017 fiscal year. OC YMF is an opportunity to learn new topics in the field of civil engineering. Denise received her B.S. in Civil Engineer at Cal Poly Pomona. She is currently working at HNTB-Santa Ana as a civil/highway design engineer.
New to Orange County, she joined OC YMF to meet fellow passionate colleagues and to expand her knowledge in the industry. After attending her first meeting, she's ecstatic to collaborate with her fellow OC YMF colleagues in giving back to the community and be an advocate for the civil engineering industry.

Nadia Mugisha is a Design Engineer at PACE in the Fountain Valley Office. She received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from California Baptist university (CBU), Riverside in 2017. Although Nadia has been involved with ASCE throughout college and her career, being president of ASCE CBU student chapter in her senior year offered her a sense of great accomplishment and created in her a great attraction to ASCE’s cause of advancing the Civil Engineering profession.
After moving to Orange County, Nadia continued to embrace ASCE and joined OC YMF. As Part of this group, she is excited to be involved in programs that allow her to be surrounded by like-minded professionals, guiding each other to become better people, better professionals and better members of the community.
Nadia is excited to serve as the Co-chair for the mentorship committee. She looks forward to being part of creating an environment where all engineers can connect, form meaningful relationships and help young engineers to successfully navigate their career journey.

Alexandra Dubrock, EIT, is the PE Review Committee Co-Chair and works with Contech Engineered Solutions as the Stormwater Consultant for South Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties. She provides both technical guidance and expertise regarding Contech’s Stormwater solutions to design engineers, regulatory agencies, and site owners. Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University, Alexandra has been assisting in Stormwater solution development with Contech Engineered Solutions since 2015. You can also find her hiking, training for Spartan races, and cosplaying during her free time.

ASCE helped him achieve his goals as a student, and now he volunteers with ASCE OC YMF as a professional to give back and help the next generation of young engineers. I just recently graduated from Cal-State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. I currently work as a Field Engineer for the Special Projects Division at Turner Construction. As an undergrad, my involvement and development in my ASCE student chapter have motivated me to become an active member in ASCE YMF. I hope to grow my network professionally and personally, continue to push my limits and increase awareness of the impact of civil engineering to the newer generations with those who share a deep passion for their field. Even as of the newest additions to the family, I have already seen my potential to grow through ASCE YMF's endless opportunities and welcoming environment.

Gerardo is a Design Engineer I at Mark Thomas in Irvine, California. He recently graduated from the University of California Irvine with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has been involved in drainage design and roadway design for transportation projects.

Manasa works as a Project Engineer at ENGEO. She received her Master's degree with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering from UC San Diego and Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from India.

Mathew is a licensed engineer and a Structural Project Manager at DCI Engineers in Irvine, California. He received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and his M.S. degree in Structural Engineering from UC San Diego. Andy is an individual that grew up with the internet and his hobbies and specializations reflects that. When not working as a land development engineer at Ware Malcomb, he is fully involved in the ever evolving world of online content creation and social media. Serving as Creative Content Director, he focuses on helping YMF grow in line with where society and the industry is moving. His interests include photography, videography, online gaming, electronics, powerlifting, dancing, and an everlasting desire to learn new things.

Kayla is a water resources engineer at CWE in Fullerton. She recently completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering and Science at Clemson University. As a new Californian, she initially got involved with ASCE OC YMF to meet other civil engineers in the area. After realizing how active, engaged, and awesome this group was, she felt inspired to get more involved with ASCE OC through the Community Service Committee.
