Gabreelle graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor's in Civil Engineering. She currently works at the City of Anaheim as an Associate Engineer for Public Works Development Services.

Gabreelle began her involvement with OC YMF in 2015, post-graduation in the University Outreach Committee as the UC Irvine Liaison. Gabreelle enjoys providing support and resources to the student chapters, which is why she remained the University Outreach Chair up until 2021. She has now transitioned to President and is looking forward to giving back to the organization on a broader scale. She appreciates the opportunities OC YMF has given her over the years, in which she has made many great friends, grew her network, learned about the industry, and grown both personally and professionally.

Tyler Hodges

Tyler graduated from UC Irvine with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and works as a Design Engineer at Mark Thomas. His experiences includes work on utilities such as sewer, water, and drainage design, as well as transportation. During his time at UC Irvine, Tyler was heavily involved with expanding his connections with students and faculty as a Resident Advisor in Student Housing.

Besides taking long walks on the beach, Tyler enjoys playing kickball, hanging out with friends, and baking desserts. Tyler is grateful to work with the amazing individuals within OC YMF and the future leaders of the upcoming generation.

Ashlyn is a Road and Highway Engineer at Parsons Corporation in Irvine. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering in December of 2016 from San Diego State University. She has been involved in NSBE, WTS, and ASCE throughout her college experience and career.

With a quick move to the OC, she recognized the need to join professional organizations in the area to succeed professionally and personally and OC YMF was an excellent way to get started! OC YMF is very welcoming and continues to make the organization feel like home. With her passion to serve, she is excited to serve as President and continue to grow OC YMF as the premier resource and organization for younger civil engineers in Orange County.

JR is a Dam Safety / Water Resources at Black & Veatch. He obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering at UC Irvine and M.S. in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. JR has been involved with ASCE OC Branch and YMF since 2015 through a variety of programs and positions - most recently as the Mentorship Co-Chair for the 21-22 year. Now he is ready to guard the monies as the Lord of Coin. On his spare time JR enjoys going on adventures with his lady and doggos, DJing as ZenZaddy, and getting tossed by waves while surfing.

Megan received her bachelor's in Civil Engineering from California State University, Northridge and is currently working for the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering in Development Services. With a career within Public Works, she continues to look forward to playing a role in improving her community. Her passion for making a positive impact on the younger generation of engineers began when she originally was introduced to ASCE at the collegiate level when she attended University of California, Irvine. The motivational experience provided by UCI's mentorship program and the inclusive environment OC YMF radiates encouraged her to become involved now as a professional. Megan has an eclectic taste in music; she enjoys attending concerts, hula dancing and visiting Disneyland in her spare time.

Alexandra (Xan) Dubrock

Alexandra Dubrock, EIT, is the PE Review Committee Co-Chair and works with Contech Engineered Solutions as the Stormwater Consultant for South Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties. She provides both technical guidance and expertise regarding Contech’s Stormwater solutions to design engineers, regulatory agencies, and site owners. Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University, Alexandra has been assisting in Stormwater solution development with Contech Engineered Solutions since 2015. You can also find her hiking, training for Spartan races, and cosplaying during her free time.

Andrea graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with her B.S. in Civil Engineering. She is a Design Engineer at Mark Thomas in the Irvine office. She works in the transportation field and is currently working on right-of-way and utilities. She has three years of local road project experience and was mostly involved in WTS during her time as an undergrad but now wants to meet with professionals near her area. She is excited to plan activities that will connect current and new faces to the SoCal YMF branches.

Christopher earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree at his alma mater. While enrolled in the MBA program, Chris is employed by Caltrans. In these roles, he is able to contribute to his community as a young transportation professional and maintain a commitment to his education.

Christopher has been heavily involved in several engineering student organizations since his freshman year. His involvement with the ASCE student chapter in particular includes leading the CSUF Steel Bridge team for 2 years. As a graduate student and young professional, he remains an advisor to and supporter of the student clubs at CSUF.

Chuck is a Design Engineer at Mark Thomas. He is currently working on roadway, drainage and staging designs in the transportation office in Irvine. He also has four years of construction management experience with Caltrans roadway and staging work.

Chuck’s participation with OC YMF has exposed him to new leadership opportunities and professional growth throughout the years. One of Chuck's reasons to be part of OC YMF is to give back to the community he lives in through K-12 and other professional opportunities. Chuck is grateful to work with OC YMF which is comprised of outstanding and energetic individuals of similar interests who will become future leaders in the Civil Engineering industry.

Danny earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal State Long Beach and his M.S. in Water Resources/Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.

Danny is a Project Engineer at AECOM and is currently working on wastewater treatment plant design, hydraulic modeling, and wastewater conveyance projects. ASCE helped him achieve his goals as a student, and now he volunteers with ASCE OC YMF as a professional to give back and help the next generation of young engineers. He's passionate about helping people in need and volunteers as much as he can to improving his community.

Darlyn was heavily involved in ASCE at UC Irvine and joined YMF after graduating to continue her involvement. As a student herself, Darlyn saw the great benefit OC YMF provides to the students and is passionate about providing the same benefits and opportunities to the new generation of students. As the UCI Practitioner Darlyn strives to keep communication transparent between ASCE Society and the UCI Student Chapter as well as providing any guidance on navigating the Civil Engineering Industry to the student chapters. When she's not planning or hosting a University Outreach event, Darlyn enjoys going to Disneyland, traveling, and growing her plant collection from local vendors.

Frida is a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn in Orange, California. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton in the Spring of 2018. She was involved with ASCE, Chi Epsilon, CalGeo, ITE and AGC during her college trajectory. She continues to remain involved with ASCE today in her career, serving as one of the OC YMF CSUF Student Liaisons since the Fall of 2018.

Frida’s involvement with OC YMF has allowed her to continue helping the Civil Engineering student community. As well as introduced her to a phenomenal group of determined, passionate, and inspiring like-minded younger members who have grown to become cherished friendships. Frida wishes to continue expanding her involvement through OC YMF and furthermore into the ASCE OC Branch when the time comes.

Memo is a Designer 2 in the Civil Engineering team at LPA, Inc in Irvine, CA. He graduated from UC Irvine in 2017 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. Memo got involved with the ASCE student chapter at UCI where he finished his senior year serving as the club's Internal Vice President and as Steel Bridge Co-Project Manager. His focus now is serving as a Co-Chair for the K-12/PSBC Committee where he gets to work with (and hopefully inspire) the engineers of the future. Aside from ASCE and work, Memo spends his free time with his family and frequents Netflix as it is a staple in his life.

Jazzy Quinabo is a Project Engineer for the Program & Construction Management Group at Jacobs. She has five years of industry experience in the Transportation, Geotechnical Engineering, Pipeline Utilities, K-12 Master Planning, and Construction Management fields. She has been involved with ASCE OC YMF since 2014 and has served in various Executive Board & Committee Chair roles at both the YMF and Branch level.

Jazzy is grateful to be working and leading with such a passionate and driven team of young professionals. She enjoys creating opportunities that engage and advance our local Civil Engineering community and looks forward to building more unforgettable memories with ASCE OC YMF this year.

During her undergraduate career, she was heavily involved in ASCE OC; serving as UCI’s student chapter president and volunteering in YMF and Branch committees. Following graduation, Janelle continues bridging the gap between student chapters and professionals by serving as University Outreach Chair. ASCE OC has provided Janelle with invaluable opportunities, resources, and relationships and she hopes to pay it forward by helping the next generation of civil engineers find their path in our industry.

Javier Urías earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering at California State University, Fullerton, and currently works at WSP as an Assistant Resident Engineer in their PMCM division. Javier was actively involved as a student with the ASCE CSUF student chapter. Now as CSUF Practitioner Advisor, he wishes to continue being involved with ASCE at a professional level working closely with OC YMF and the CSUF student chapter.

Javier joined OC YMF to integrate himself both socially and professionally with a network of passionate civil engineers. As a student, he appreciated the work and commitment of OC YMF professionals in creating opportunities for students as they’d transition into the professional world. Now working alongside the professionals, he hopes to carry YMF's mission through students in the community who were once in his position.

Kayla is a water resources engineer at CWE in Fullerton, CA. She recently completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering and Science at Clemson University. As a new Californian, she initially got involved with ASCE OC YMF to meet other civil engineers in the area. After realizing how active, engaged, and awesome this group was, she felt inspired to get more involved with ASCE OC through the Community Service Committee.

Luis Manzo received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from CSU Fullerton. He is an assistant engineer at GHD. While attending CSU Fullerton he was heavily involved with ASCE and became a concrete canoe paddler in his 1st year with ASCE then became the vice president of the club the following year. After attending the numerous professional/ social events that ASCE has to offer he realized how much he missed out by not joining the organization sooner. He does not intend to make that mistake again, he is going to continue to be involved with the organization and expand his network. He hopes to assist CSUF as their liaison/ practitioner advisor and help them in any way he can to make sure the student chapter runs smoothly and efficiently. And hopefully, in the process teach the students just how important it is to continue to be involve with ASCE even after graduation.

Marionne is a Civil Associate in the Traffic/ITS Department at Michael Baker International and a Graduate Student at Cal Poly Pomona. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at California State University, Long Beach.

Actively involved in ASCE as a student, serving as the 2018-2019 CSULB Co-President, Marionne joined OC YMF to continue to make a difference in her community through civil engineering in hopes of building a brighter future for the next generation. She is passionate about designing and building communities, both structurally and socially. Seeing the organization foster a positive difference in both her personal and professional life inspired her to promote the profession to a broader audience beyond academia. Matthew is a Construction Manager for the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering. He currently works at the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant in El Segundo overseeing the construction of various wastewater projects throughout the plant. He received his Master's in Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2018 with an emphasis on water quality.

Matthew is involved with the University Outreach team and would like to continue expanding his involvement in OC YMF. He enjoys having the opportunity of meeting with the future of this industry through University Outreach and sharing his knowledge and experience gained during his professional experience.

Michael is a recent graduate from California State University, Long Beach, where he received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. He currently works as a Design Engineer for Mark Thomas where he helps in the design of roadway infrastructure for transportation projects. Michael is a student at heart that enjoys learning new things through experience and is passionate about promoting civil engineering as an ideal profession to the next generation of engineers. Since his days at CSULB, he has remained active in ASCE, by participating in the first ASCE OC YMF Pathways Academy and through leading the ASCE CSULB student chapter as the 2019-2020 Co-President. Through his leadership roles in OC YMF he aims to aid in the growth of civil engineering students and to expand his network of civil engineering friends.

Michael is a Structural Engineering Associate for the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety. Formerly a California State University, Long Beach student, Michael graduated in 2021 with a Civil Engineering degree and a passion for structures. He uses this knowledge to provide structural plan checks of various projects in the world's entertainment capital.

Throughout schooling and the associated jobs held throughout school, Michael gained a passion for excelling in his industry, not only for the prospect of promotion but for a thorough understanding of the subject matter to better teach others. The team's success starts with their abilities and understanding, which originates in school. As such, Michael has become a mentor to current college attendees to overcome any barriers that stand in the way of their successes.

Natalie is a Design Engineer at Huitt-Zollars. She received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton. Nathaniel is a Transportation Engineering Associate at LADOT in DTLA, working in their Metro programs division. He's currently working on developing the G Line project in the valley. He received his B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2021 from California State University, Long Beach.

Nathaniel has been heavily involved in ASCE since his freshman year working on projects and outreach events. He now serves as a Practitioner Advisor and WRYMC Treasurer. Outside of engineering, Nathaniel enjoys trying out new recipes, quidditch, and traveling.

Sam Saldivar is a Junior Engineer for Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District and received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona. He was also actively involved in ASCE throughout college and was a part of the Concrete Canoe competition team.

Sam continues his involvement with ASCE through OC YMF and is looking forward to all the opportunities for professional development. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Stephen is an Associate Civil Engineer at the City of Anaheim's Public Works Engineering section. He earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his M.S. in Engineering Management from the California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.

Stephen joined OC YMF to grow his professional network in ASCE and to grow as a professional in the Civil Engineering industry. In his spare time, he enjoys trying out the newest Yelp restaurants, and watching his LA Lakers dominate basketball.

Samantha graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a BS in civil engineering spring of 2020. Currently, she is an Assistant Engineer for the City of Anaheim's Public Works Construction Services Division. While at CSUF, she was involved and held board positions with ASCE, CalGeo, and SWE, in addition to participating in various student competitions like GeoWall, since she was a freshman.

Being involved with ASCE helped Samantha network with other aspiring engineers, develop personally and professionally, and gain some of her closest friends. She continues her involvement with ASCE and the ASCE CSUF student chapter by helping the collegiate civil engineering community as the CSUF Liaison. She enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her loved ones in her free time.

Victor Aguirre works at Huitt-Zollars, Inc. as a Civil Engineer-In-Training/ Project Engineer in the Urban Development and Water Resources Departments. He graduated from California State University, Long Beach, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has had the privilege to work on various large and small residential developments, custom luxury homes, commercial developments, road inspections, an airport, and K-12 institutions. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, watching sports (Go Lakers! Go Dodgers! and Go Packers!) and participating in ASCE events.

Welcome to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Orange County Younger Member Forum (OC YMF)! For those who are new to our organization, OC YMF aims to help Younger Members grow professionally and serves both the profession and the community!

I am humbled to have the opportunity to serve as the OC YMF President for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year. I look forward to continuing my contribution to this awesome organization alongside so many great individuals.

Over the years, my experience with OC YMF has been a great one! I appreciate all of the friendships I have made, the opportunities for personal and professional growth, and the ability to have a positive impact on the community. I definitely recommend getting involved!
